Chlorine Shortage Situation - Request Mutual Aid

Good Morning Members –
ORWARN is monitoring the chlorine shortage situation closely with our OEM, OHA, DEQ, and other regional agencies. ORWARN is here to support our members and provide mutual aid whenever possible. The board is working closely with OHA and DEQ as we receive updates from the survey that was distributed to water and wastewater utilities last week. If your utility has less than 7 days of chlorine remaining on site with no deliveries scheduled within that timeframe, please submit a mutual aid request on the ORWARN website. This request is in addition to the request utilities can make through OHA or DEQ. This 7-day window will alert ORWARN of the mutual aid request directly. From that point, the board can work closely with responding agencies to secure chlorine delivery, if available.
